EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Plantcor Mining and Plant Hire is a private company which was established in 2000. Originally founded as a plant hire company, Plantcor supplied earthmoving and support equipment to the mining sector. Although incepted to be a “Plant Hire” company, Plantcor’s focus soon evolved and became an Opencast Contract Mining company. Apart from mining, the company also does bulk earth works including Civil Engineering Works. Mine rehabilitation and materials handling rounds off Plantcor’s portfolio. It all started off from humble beginnings, with a single piece of equipment and over the years has grown from strength to strength. Plantcor has worked very hard to establish an impressive customer base by employing sound business practices. Its current customers consist of some of the major players in the mining and civil industry.
